There weren’t many reviews available for this water resistant action camera, but the majority of what we could find was glowing. One customer had a problem with the amount of software they had to download in updates, but that was the only negative that we could find.

As far as a helmet camera goes, you’re probably not going to beat the Oregon Scientific ATC 9K. The shock and water resistance are built into the camera, meaning there’s no need for an outer casing which would muffle sound. This is, by far, the most talked about feature. Extreme sports enthusiasts can add their own narrative to their video without having to worry about dubbing over the video or missing a second of their monologue. Some did mention the audio quality could be better – but that it wasn’t anything to complain about considering all the action going on.

The built it screen allows you to retake on the spot, if needed. This is definitely better than going out for a skate or ski run, only to find out once you get home that you have to do it all over again due to the fact that shot wasn’t lined up right.
